Corporate Sponsorship Program

Overview of the Program

The Corporate Sponsorship program is most flexible way for our local corporate citizens to support the mission and ongoing programs of Hinds’ Feet Farm while minimizing the impact to the corporate cash flow and maximizing the marketing benefit of their support.

The benefit and attraction of the program is the corporation’s ability to completely customize and tailor the type, timing and mix of the annual commitment. Once a total annual support commitment goal has been decided upon, the corporation can decide on how to achieve that commitment and when.

The program’s two components are, Contributions and Event Sponsorship.

Contributions of cash or gift/services in-kind may be designated to a program of choice or remain unrestricted for use where the need is greatest. Event sponsorships for any of the Farm’s first-class events may be made annually. The timing of your corporate support may be tailored to minimize the impact on the corporation’s cash flow and to coincide with the corporation’s fiscal/budgetary calendar.

For example:

  • ABC Widget Manufacturer’s decides to contribute a total of $10,000 annually to the mission of Hinds’ Feet Farm. To maximize their marketing potential and minimize the impact to their cash flow, they decide to tailor their sponsorship in the following manner:

    January: $3,000 Sponsorship in The Checkered ball. July: $3,000 Sponsorship in the Davey Allison Memorial Golf Tournament. October: $4,000 Cash gift to the farm.


  • XYZ Bank wants to contribute a total of $5,000 annually to the mission of Hinds’ Feet Farm. They decide to tailor their sponsorship in the following manner:

    July: $2,500 Sponsorship in the Davey Allison Memorial Golf Tournament. December: $2,500 Cash gift to the farm.


  • 123 Improvements Store wants to contribute a total of $3,000 annually to the mission of Hinds’ Feet Farm. They decide to tailor their support in the following manner:

    January: $1,000 Gift in-kind to the farm. June: $1,000 Cash gift to the farm. September: $1,000 Gift in-kind to the farm.


Each corporation chooses the event(s) that offers optimum exposure and determines the timing of the additional cash or gift in-kind contribution.

Sponsor benefits for the selected event(s) are based on the value of the f the sponsorship and include but are not limited to

  • Seats/tickets, etc
  • Mention in program, event website, etc
  • Signage, banners, etc as appropriate


Corporate sponsors will be listed in a special section of the Hinds’ Feet Farm website, including links to the sponsor’s website.

Corporate sponsors will also be listed in the Hinds’ Feet Farm newsletter “Making Tracks”, which is distributed twice a year to over 2,000 recipients.

Space and/or Program Naming Opportunities exist for cash contributions beginning at the $10,000 level.

The Checkered Ball, now in it’s 15th year, is a one of Charlotte’s finest black-tie events, held every January at The Westin Hotel in uptown Charlotte. This event is attended annually by over 400 guests and includes a live band, open bar, superb food, a regional and national awards presentation and one of the regions most unique and fun silent auctions! Attended by affluent guests and patrons of Hinds Feet Farm, this is a stellar networking event and a great evening! Table sponsorships range from $2,000 to $15,000.

The Davey Allison Golf Classic, in it’s 14th year, is one of the longest running and most successful golf tournaments in our area. Held at the Birkdale Golf Club in Huntersville, the tournament is played each year by almost 144 golf enthusiasts and includes a pre-tournament dinner the night before the event, continental breakfast, box lunch, post-tournament dinner and awards banquet. Each player receives a complimentary welcome gift package and great prizes are awarded to the top 8 teams for the day. Tournament sponsorships range from $750 to $10,000.

Other events may be planned to celebrate special occasions throughout the year and may be of interest to Corporate Sponsors. The Big Ride and a fall festival are two examples that offer fun and fellowship for families and friends of Hinds’ Feet Farm.
